I've designed various ML systems for the financial field including anti-money laundering, document extraction and summarization, product selection based on a natural language query and forecasting of future demand for HSA accounts. My current interest is in creating time series forecasting of cryptocurrency coins and determining which ones would be worth investing in the future.
