At Conning Asset Management, he led the firm’s expansion into Asia, growing assets to $30 billion and making Asia-Pacific the firm’s most profitable region. His expertise in capital markets, regulatory frameworks, and financial risk management now supports his work in energy and carbon capture.
Paul also co-founded GenH2, a NASA spin-out specializing in cryogenic hydrogen liquefaction. He played a pivotal role in technology development, market strategy, and investor relations, helping drive GenH2’s upcoming public listing on the Frankfurt Exchange in 2024.
