•I am a software engineer with strong foundations in computer science, keenly interested in the field of FinTech. I completed my BSc in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka, where I developed deep expertise in programming and principles of software engineering. Presently, I am reading for a Master's in Financial Mathematics at the University of Colombo, therefore furthering my knowledge in quantitative finance, risk management, and market dynamics.
I have worked both as a Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer in the development of Order Management Systems, focusing on equity order paths, fractional trading, and fixed-income securities. This includes designing trading paths for asset classes: equities, bonds, CFDs, and FX. I have hands-on experience with FIX protocols, market operations, and risk management strategies.
